Kashf Foundation trains more than 90,000 students

Kashf Foundation’s Financial Education for Youth Program provided training to around 99,000 students across the country besides also reached around 1,100 low cost private schools, Kashf Managing Director Roshaneh Zafar told.
Kashf Foundation has provided training to more than 4,500 teachers of these 1,100 low cost private schools besides this project resulted in increase of student enrollment upto 69 percent in these schools, Roshaneh claimed. She further revealed that the project also caused increase in libraries, proper management and discipline ratio in these schools.
Kashf Foundation started its Financial Education for Youth Program in 2012 in order to provide financial aid to the private schools which are located in sub urban and urban areas but couldn’t afford facilities as compared to elite schools. The program focuses on under served or marginalized communities located in peri urban and urban markets. Schools selected are operating on less than PKR 1,200 in class fees per month, which is approximately the middle to low range of the LCPS market.
